How do you capture percentiles?

Percentiles indicate the position of a specific value in a set of data points. In the Birches Group surveys, jobs are matched to a BG-level. The salaries of the jobs falling within the same level are then arranged from lowest to highest. Percentiles are then captured accordingly from this arrangement to indicate the position of the value in the set.
